An architect with fluency in Japanese, English and the language of design, Hiroyuki Yoshikawa has delivered a large number of successful projects in Japan with international clients, comprising law firms, IT companies, corporate banking offices and call centers.
Yoshikawa began his career with Sei Kimura, followed by three years at management level with the Richard Rogers Partnership Japan. He then joined Benjamin Warner upon the founding of CDI Aoyama Studio, serving as the Studio director for over a decade.
Yoshikawa was key to the successful implementation of all CDI projects, including such Tokyo landmarks as the V28 Harajuku building and the Iceberg (Audi Forum Tokyo). He also completed Clifford Chance Akasaka, British council projects in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya and Kyoto, KPMG Tokyo, Linklaters Tokyo, Shanghai and Hangkong, and Portofino Aoyama. For the Richard Rogers Partnership, Yoshikawa realized such blue-chip projects as the Nippon TV Headquarters in Tokyo and the Techno Plaza in Gifu.
Since establishing his own practice in 2010 and incorporating it as a limited company in 2013, Yoshikawa’s Tripod Studio has completed such projects as the Almost Blue C building and many interior fitouts, including Service Source Yokohama, Concentrix Mita and Okinawa, Arcserve Jimbocho and Splunk Marunouchi.
